THE PROJECT

Last year, Big Teeth launched #BigTeethJam, a contest that asked local Chicago bands to submit an original song for a chance to win a free music video compliments of Big Teeth. Why? Because it gave us a chance to flex our creative muscles on a fun project while also spreading some love to the Chicago music scene.

The submissions were narrowed down to three finalists, which were then voted on by the public to determine our winner. The winners, The Fox & The Hounds, raked in more than 1,500 votes, and we teamed up with Chicago’s one and only burlesque rock band to develop a concept for their new single “How The Other Half Live.” The result was a colorful blend of 2 separate stories, both of which pull influences from the attitude and energy of the song.

MEET THE BAND

The Fox & The Hounds are touted as the area’s only Burlesque Rock and Roll band, whose live shows are subversively cathartic and soul-baringly one of a kind. They were made to love you. They may also want to kill you. Peachy Keen, the new EP, is a screaming six-song odyssey through the satin-and-smoke-filled world of love, loss, betrayal, and revenge in which the band makes its home.
