Bigteeth.tv: New-ish & improved-er
It's 2011 (almost halfway into it) so what better way to kick off the fifth month of the new year than with an updated Big Teeth Productions website? So welcome to the new-ish and improved-er bigteeth.tv.
If you've visited the site over the past two years you may not notice too much of a difference but there's a few changes to help navigate easier that we're excited to have.
Here are a few highlights:
- Cleaner Navigation - We realized that it's important for people to know what you do before hiring you. So, the main pages of our site now focus on the three core pieces of our business: Video Production (live action video), Animation & Effects, and Branding & Design.
- Tags & More Tags - Let's face it, when you visit a potential vendor's website you want to know 1) what their work looks like and 2) who they work with. The Client list and Portfolio pages are now organized by tags. Now when you visit one of those sections you'll have the option to view items by specific tags.
- Tweety/Likey - We've had a social media presence since the dark days of 2008 but now you're all in on it too. What's the deal with needing so many people to be social?!?! Anyway, all of our video samples now have the option to share them via the big boys (Twitter & Facebook) and the other dudes (StumbleUpon & Digg). It's now easier to do this for our blog posts as well. So share away!
- Request a Quote - This one isn't too sexy but could be helpful if you or someone you know is looking to work with The Teeth. We've added a "Request a Quote" link at the top of the site header so people can get in touch with us via the web and we can get down to biz ASAP.
As most of you well know, a website is a constantly evolving animal and while we're enamored with these changes and a few others we didn't mention, it's important that it be useful for visitors who aren't employees. So, if you see anything that you think could work better, please let us know.
Also, a special thanks to our web dev giant Tristan Blease and several new-ish Big Teeth'ers Nicole Sanchez, Jill Tondu and Josh Greenberg for collaborating with me to ensure the site is in tip top shape.
